Frankly speaking, Cambodia is not well-planning for telco. yet and the natural condition (hot climate, water-covered land, sandy soil...) are obstacles to deploy wired broadband service. However, I have to pay alot of money every month for the connection. One of my friend who works for an ISP mentioned to me that the internet was expensive because the ISP has to pay alot of money to buy the connection from oversee. It doesn't make sense to me! because Other countries are also buying connection from oversea too. The internet price will slow down if our government want to make it down. I think i am one of the luckiest cambodian people who able to access internet from home. However, I have to pay alot of money every month for the connection.

One of my friend who works for an ISP mentioned to me that the internet was expensive because the ISP has to pay alot of money to buy the connection from oversee. It doesn’t make sense to me! because Other countries are also buying connection from oversea too.

The internet price will slow down if our government want to make it down.
