Normally before any execution of any development project, we must conduct environmental impact assessment (EIA) to make sure that the project doesn’t cause any harm to the environment. For the Beongkak lake filling project, the project started before conducting any environmental impact assessment. I am sorry guys, TIC (This is Cambodia), this is how thing are done here. If the city is going to flood they will blame it on bad weather.
Beside faster internet connection, 3G do not have anything better than conventional 2G cell phone, especially in Cambodia where the video call is banned. Today, I receive a call from Mobitel, told me that there is a change in its 3G subscription plan. Now we have 2 option, Internet only, and TV stream only. If we want both internet and TV stream we have to register for TV stream once again. The problem is not are they trying to charge more? I asked the call center operator, the reply I got was “No, we do not charge yet!” does this mean a possibility of charges in the future? Continue reading »
