I am always fascinated by the magic of slow shutter photos. Today, I’ve a chance to take it my self and share with you. After dinner today, I set up my camera inside my car and go for a drive around Phnom Penh, here is the result. More photo and comment inside please read more!
HOW DID I TAKE THEM?
- Set up my camera in the car by attaching with the driver seat. Of course I use gorillapod delivered to me a few weeks back.
- Set the composition.
- Set the Camera to Tv at value of 30 seconds.
- Take a test shot, to see if I am happy with the composition. Though, I am not satisfied with it, I should have a wider lens.
- Set the camera to self timer, set it to took 10 photos a time. I did took 30 photos, shown above is the selection from those.
Yeah here’s the result, the gorillapod works at it is supposed to. Hope to share with more slow shutter magic soon

So you did not regret buying the gorillapod. Next time you should try the style linked below. http://www.flickr.com/photos/jerinthebox/3329831705/ I wish I can do that too.

By the way I have no idea how to shoot several photos at a time using timer with my D80. In such your case, it is pretty useful. Do you feel OK to point your camera at a total stranger?

I’ve never use the Nikon,
I have no idea, but i guess a remote shutter release would be useful.

Oh, la la, I was very dizzy when ever I see those pics. I could not even know why I should want to take pics like those?! so, before I learn to take those pics I should learn to watch it first.
