In my country people are nationalist, no other people love their country more than my people love my country. People of my country are proud, even they are not rich (some of them are very rich though). To my people my country is know as golden land (Sovana Bhumi).

As nationalism is  a new trend in my country many profit driven people are competing to sell nationalism to the people. I’ve seen so many nationalism products for sale, from websites to foods, any thing that is about how proud my country sell like crazy.

I become lazy just to watch TV now because every time i watch TV I see proud people. Any where I go I see proud people. Now may be it’s time to think of some products or services to sell to my people that make them even prouder. So that the more they buy the more money they spend the poorer they become. It doesn’t matter because we are a nation of gold, in water there are fishes, there are temples, there is oil…… countless things that my country has. Yes we are proud, even if we are poor. ;)

    Thanks ThaRum,

It’s a long text, but interesting, I haven’t read through it yet. He did draw a distinction between patriotism and nationalism.
