Border dispute between Cambodia and Thailand is the central problem for both. But easy way out of conflict for both side, remain impossible. No matter how long the talk’s going to take, the result is the same "Both side cannot make any compromise". Even the Prime minister for both nation do not have the authority to make decision or any compromise, leave alone the Foreign Minister talks. Politician cannot make any agreement when both sides remain firm that "This is our land".

Clearly the situation cannot be solve through bilateral means. But why the world is turning a blind eye on the conflict? In a conflict like this the only way out is a 3rd party that is acceptable for both sides. The International Court of Justice maybe. But, right now the world is busy with the crisis everywhere. Is the UN waiting for the first 50 or 100 missile to land on both side first, then they start to put the dispute on the discussion?

Can any of you think of a better way out? Cambodia is enough with war, the only way out is to go to the International Court of Justice. Why wait?

This is against my wills, I am a person who believe in human rights, democracy, and freedom. To me Burmese leaders is not in the position where people should give respect, but they are just a gang of criminals, who will do every thing to hold on to power. Help me: Should I join them or not?

The reports show us that poor performance of poor country like Cambodia in areas such as economic, and governance create disparity among ASEAN nations. Despite the reported economic growth every year, Cambodia’s living standard is still far below some of rich ASEAN nations. But, we cannot put the blame of failure to integrate on poor countries alone, as an economic block we need to share the responsibility. Continue reading »
