Internet in Cambodia is a premium service, not any one can afford to have internet connection. Although it is still expensive, the price comes down recently. 3.5G HSDPA technology has made mobile internet available in Cambodia. Nowadays there are two plan for unlimited mobile internet:
The 3G coverage by Cube is based on UMTS standard that provides the maximum speed of 384kbps. Recently I’ve read the news says that Cube 3G is based on W-CDMA standard. In theory the network speed can be up to 7.2mbps, but the company claimed that currently the network speed is at 1.6mbps. At this speed Cube will become the second ISP to provider affordable high-speed mobile internet. However, I’ve been trying to use my cousin’s sim card to test the speed; the link was still unstable to tell the correct speed.

I’ve always look for a better internet connection. To mobile internet is the only suitable way to connect, since I have to use the connection both at home and office.
